The cost of college is quite daunting so every expense needs to be considered.
Finances are burdening many in the college community these days. Let's face it attending college isn't cheap and when it comes to getting a good education you need more than a cut-rate education. Many students are eligible for government assistance in the forms of scholarships and grants and this money is free and does not need to be paid back. Families and students that fall into the middle class range however, usually wind up receiving very little by way of assistance for their students, unless of course their child is at the top of their class in academics or in sports.
